Arrests in downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752
Iran's judiciary reporting arrests have been made for the accidental shootdown of a Ukrainian passenger plane that killed all 176 on board, including 57 Canadians, last week over Tehran.
The announcement comes amid growing protests in the country over the downing of the plane and the subsequent attempt to cover up the cause of the crash.
It took the Iranian government three days after the plane crashed to admit it had been shot down by mistake by members of the country's Revolutionary Guard.
A spokesman for the judiciary told state TV, arrests have been made, but did not say how many or who
