BREAKING | President Trump headed to hospital
Less than 24 hours after testing positive for COVID-19, U.S. President Donald Trump is being airlifted to hospital.
He is headed to Walter Reed Hospital on the advice of doctors.
Trump is expected to be treated there for a few days.
The 74-year-old Trump is said to have mild symptoms such as a cough and headache.
The White House doctor says Trump was treated with an experimental coronavirus antibody cocktail and "remains fatigued."
First Lady Melania Trump and Trump's top aide are also sick.
Trump confirmed early this morning that him and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the White House, Trump will be working out of the presidential offices at the hospital for the next few days.
Should Trump fall too ill with COVID-19 to be able to perform his duties, there's an automatic backup: U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence.
