Charges laid in 'egregious' speeding incident on QEW
It was a busy weekend for police in Burlington.
OPP arrested a 19 year old driver after the teen was clocked doing 308 km/h on the QEW near Burlington.
The force's, Sergeant Kerry Schmidt says the driver only had a G2 licence and also had another 19 year old in the car.
The teen is charged with stunt driving and dangerous driving.
Meantime, Halton police are searching for two men after a video appeared on social media showing the pair on the South Service Road in Burlington throwing objects, possibly eggs at vehicles in the eastbound lanes of the QEW early Sunday morning, around 3:00.
Police say no one was injured but their actions could have caused a major crash on the highway.
