Feds to consider airline bailout with certain conditions

New federal support for Canada's pandemic-battered airline industry is in the works, but the funds will come with certain prerequisites.

A key one is that carriers provide refunds to passengers whose flights were cancelled.

Canada's commercial airlines have seen passenger levels drop by as much as 90 per cent since the pandemic hit,  forcing them to furlough hundreds of pilots and technicians and discontinue dozens of regional routes.
