Four teens now in custody in death of Hamilton's 14 yr old Devan Selvey

CKTB- Hamilton stabbing

Four teenagers have now been arrested in the death of a 14-year-old outside of a Hamilton high school.

Police say all four accused and the victim were students at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School.

Hamilton Police held a news conference today saying the victim is Devan Selvey.

It has been reported that his mother was with him at the time of the attack.

Police say a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl are both facing charges of first-degree murder.

They say two males aged 18 and 14 who were arrested yesterday made a brief court appearance today -- also on charges of first-degree murder.

Police say those charges were laid because their investigation found some elements of pre-planning in the attack on Selvey in front of his mother yesterday afternoon.

The murder weapon has now been located and police say they have video of the murder.
