Grimsby Mayor supportive of mandatory masks

CKTB - News - Jeff Jordan

Regional Council will meet Wednesday in special session to debate whether masks should be mandatory for indoor spaces in Niagara.

Grimsby Mayor Jeff Jordan says he'll be supporting the move.

He says there are naysayers in the community but he says when speaking to his constituents 90 per cent are in favour of the move and just 10 per cent against.

Jordan says it's a small inconvenience for the greater good of the community.

The special meeting of the Region takes place at 3 p.m.
