Habitat Niagara rated one of Canada’s top charities 2019
Habitat for Humanity Niagara was recognized as one of Canada's top-rated charities according to MoneySense's Charity 100 list.
The ranking is based on two major criteria: finances and transparency.
Mark Carl, Habitat Niagara's CEO says he's honoured to receive the recognition, adding he's proud of the work done by staff, the Board of Directors and volunteers.
Carl calls it "a wonderful accomplishment."
Habitat Niagara says "having achieved the accreditation demonstrates the charity’s commitment to operate at the highest level of accountability and transparency, and in turn, strengthens public confidence."
