Hamilton murder suspect found dead in Brantford motel
Ontario's police watchdog is investigating after a man suspected of killing two people in Hamilton was found dead in a hotel room in Brantford.
The Special Investigations Unit was called in after 35-year-old David Thomson was found dead this morning.
Officers with Hamilton and Brantford police had surrounded the motel where Thomson was reported to be staying.
He was wanted in the deaths of 32-year-old Cheryl Nicholl and 62-year-old Donald Lowe of Hamilton, who were found dead on Saturday.
