Hamilton restaurant blames Spinco outbreak after three of its employees test positive for COVID

The owner of Radius telling the Spec, our first case has been linked to the local spin studio outbreak.

But Hamilton Public Health says its too soon to say for sure.

Three staff members at Radius have tested positive for COVID-19.

Radius is just a few blocks away from the fitness centre.

The number of cases now associated with the Spinco outbreak hit 72 yesterday.

Meanwhile, McMaster University has reported its sixth case of COVID-19 on campus.

A student employee who worked at the campus services building has tested positive. 

Contact tracing is underway.

There were 30 new cases of the virus reported yesterday in Hamilton.
