Health Canada has announced a recall of several toy slime kits because of a chemical hazard.

CLS Sales is recalling D-I-Y Shake Slime kits because they fail to meet safety requirements regarding boric acid, which can be toxic to kids if it's ingested.

This recall also involves Toysmith brand Slime Suckers. The toy has a purple or blue head figure, with green slime.

Health Canada says more than 9,500 of the kits have been sold in Canada since last December, but there have been no reports of injuries or other incidents.
