NEW | Snow squall warning now in effect for South Niagara
Fort Erie and Port Colborne already looking like a winter wonderland this morning as lake effect snow starts falling across the southern parts of the region, including Niagara Falls, Welland and Port Colborne.
Environment Canada issuing a snow squall warning just moments ago, on top of a winter travel advisory for the southern part of the region issued earlier this morning.
Bands of lake effect snow are expected to dump between 5 and 10 centimetres of snow on Niagara.
We are getting reports driving conditions are rapidly deteriorating in the Fort Erie area.
