Live in Pelham? Have your say on the town's new cannabis bylaw
Pelham residents will get a chance to voice their opinion on cannabis grow facilities.
A public meeting will be held next Tuesday September 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the Meridian Community Centre at 100 Meridian Way.
The town's current by-law surrounding marijuana grow operations expires Oct 15th, and residents will have a chance to weigh-in on the town's proposed changes that evening.
Councillor Mike Ciolfi, who sits on the Cannabis Control Committee says residents are still very upset over issues relating to marijuana facilities including odour, light pollution, and increased traffic being the most common complaints.
Last year Pelham voted to stop new cannabis production facilities from setting up in the town for a one-year period.
