More and more people want to get tested for COVID-19 across Ontario, including here in Niagara

Niagara Health has seen an increase in the number of tests at COVID-19 assessment centres over the past week.

A total of 3,068 tests were performed from September 8-14, compared to 2,212 tests the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 6 and 2,286 tests the week of Aug. 24-30.

Officials say the quickest and easiest way to be tested is to call 905-378-4647, ext. 42819.

People calling in will be given an appointment and instructions on how to access one of our three assessment centres in Welland, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.
