Robin Tenhage from the Niagara Dog Rescue says the organization saves a lot of their dogs from kill shelters in the States.
Tenhage says most dogs they rescue are scheduled to be euthanized.
She says the organization needs more foster families to take dogs, and events like this are a great way to raise awareness for some of the dogs they have.
Most of the dogs at the event will be up for adoption.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
