Niagara Falls brewhouse looking to help Bahamas residents
Taps Eatery in Niagara Falls is inviting all of us to a "Fill the Truck" event tonight to help raise funds and supplies for hurricane ravaged residents in the Bahamas.
On their Facebook page, the Queen Street brewhouse writes the supplies will be given to two Fort Erie residents, Fiona and Ken Williams who will take the donations to the island chain.
The pair lost their vacation home on Grand Bahamas and since then have pledged to help islanders who lost everything when the Category 5 storm hit the region.
Taps will also be donating 10 percent of all restaurant sales between the hours of 5pm-9pm tonight.
