Niagara on the Lake asking returning residents to self-isolate
Niagara On The Lake Lord Mayor Betty Disero is asking anyone returning from travel to self-isolate for 14 days.
A release from the town says residents returning from a winter away or March Break travel this weekend will discover significant changes to Town operations and services.
The Town has partially activated its Emergency Operations Centre, shifted to maintain Core Services only, and closed the many Town services and facilities to the public.
In a video uploaded to the town's YouTube channel, Disero says the town has many delivery options for food, pharmaceuticals, etc. so try calling before you attempt to leave your house.
Disero says any member of council will also do pickups for you, just call their numbers on the town's website.
