Niagara Regional Housing joins list of living wage employers
Niagara Regional Housing is joining the growing list of certified living wage employers.
The organization providing a variety of housing services employs 60 full time staff members, 40 part time employees, and 45 contractors.
The living wage reflects the amount of money employees need to make to live and be an active participant in their communities.
The Niagara Poverty Reduction Network has set the living wage at $18.12/hour.
The provincial minimum wage currently sits at $14.
