NOTL clears the way for agricultural open-air fires
Due to improved conditions, the open-air burning ban in Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire has been lifted.
Controlled open-air burning for agricultural purposes may now proceed in accordance with the guidelines.
Residents are reminded that recreational fires are not permitted in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The lifting of the open air burning ban has no impact on the current prohibition of fires, tents and barbecues in public parks and on beaches in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
For more information, or to obtain permission for an open air burn, visit notl.com/content/fire-and-emergency-services.
