One case of COVID-19 at Grimsby school closes five classrooms


One COVID-19 case at a Grimsby school has closed five classrooms to allow students and staff to isolate.

The person at Central French Immersion Public School has tested positive for COVID-19, and students and staff who had close contact with the individual are being contacted.

Custodians will complete a thorough cleaning of the school this evening. 

The DSBN is also reporting two new cases at schools in Niagara Falls.
