One COVID-19 outbreak declared over at St. Catharines Hospital
Niagara Health says one COVID-19 outbreak has been declared over at the St. Catharines hospital.
The outbreak in Unit 2A at the St. Catharines site is over after 14 days of monitoring patients and staff.
Niagara Health says there has been no evidence of further transmission and no new cases of COVID-19 in the unit.
The outbreak was declared on April 21 after a patient tested positive for the virus.
This morning Niagara Health reported an outbreak in Unit K2B ICU, after a healthcare worker tested positive for the virus.
