Ontario reports 111 new COVID-19 cases
Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott is reporting 111 new cases of COVID-19 today, which marks a 0.3 per cent increase.
Elliott calls it very welcome news, but cautions it's only one days data.
Nearly 31,000 tests were processed yesterday as Ontario testing remains at all-time highs.
Elliott says locally, 28 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 19 of them reporting no new cases at all.
Niagara Public Health has reported 2 or 3 cases every day this week, today's figures will be released at noon.
Elliott will join Premier Doug Ford at a news conference this afternoon set for 1 p.m.
