Ontario reports 732 new cases of COVID-19


Ontario's Ministry of Health is reporting 732 new cases of COVID-19.

323 of the new are in cases in Toronto, with 141 in Ottawa, and 111 in Peel.

58% of today’s cases are in people under the age of 40. 

40,093 tests for the virus were completed in the last day, with 90,513 tests still under investigation.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says due to a data review at Toronto Public Health, some of the number of cases and deaths reported today actually occurred in the spring or summer. 

Elliott says 74 additional deaths from previous months have been added to the province's numbers.
