OSSTF and province meet yesterday for first time since December
No word yet on whether an informal meeting between the province and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation made any progress.
The two sides met yesterday with the OSSTF saying it would resume negotiations with the province today if the talks went well.
The union representing public high school teachers hasn't had any officials talks with the province since December.
Meantime teachers in the French school system have announced they will hold a province wide strike on Thursday.
That is the same day Catholic teachers will be off the job.
Some public high school teachers taking part in rotating strikes will also be off work on March 5th.
