Overnight shelters in Niagara Falls and St.Catharines are now up and running to protect our region's homeless.

Diane Corkum with Project Share in Niagara Falls tells CKTB the Out of the Cold program has launched for a second year at St. Andrew's United Church.

Another Out of the Cold program runs in St.Catharines at Westminster United Church, and is open from 8 pm to 7:30am.

The programs will run until March 31.

Corkum says they are looking for community donations of grocery giftcards, and PJ bottoms.

If you can help contact Diane at 905-357-5121 ext 22.
