Pathstone and Niagara Regional Native Centre to sign memorandum of understanding
Pathstone Mental Health and The Niagara Regional Native Centre will sign a memorandum of understanding during the annual Community Pow Wow.
The two organizations are hoping to build a more inclusive mental health environment for children and explore potential counselling services and programming opportunities.
The three year MOU will form a joint governance committee with representatives from both groups, working to provide insight and discuss joint programs and initiatives.
NRNC's Annual Traditional Community Pow Wow is happening in Montebello Park on Saturday from noon until 5 p.m.
The signing will take place at 1 p.m.
The event includes vendors, interactive workshops, dancing, and a sunrise ceremony at 6 a.m.
