Pedestrian air lifted to hospital after being hit on Hartzel Road
A 20 year old woman has been air lifted to an out of town trauma centre after being hit by a vehicle while trying to cross Hartzel Road near Dunvegan Road in St. Catharines.
Police officials say the woman was hit by the 2013 blue Ford Escape driven by an 82 year old St. Catharines man just before 1 a.m. this morning.
She was initially taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Niagara Regional Police are asking for any witnesses to give them a call.
