Port Dalhousie residents will be noticing new signage going up on select streets where the speed limit has been reduced from 50km/h to 40km/h.

The speed reduction measures are part of a Council approved pilot project.

The project applies to all streets north of Main Street from Courtleigh Road in the west to Lock Street in the east, and all roads south of Main Street from Martindale Road in the west to Lock Street in the east.

Starting today, more than 50 signs will be installed at the entrances to the affected neighbourhoods.
