RECALL | President's Choice Lower Iron infant formula recalled over potential bacteria contamination
Some President's Choice brand infant formula is being recalled over bacteria contamination concerns.
The Lower Iron milk-based powdered formula was sold in 900 gram packages with a best before date of August 29, 2021.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the product may have been contaminated by Cronobacter bacteria, but no illnesses have been reported so far.
Officials say Cronobacter is not commonly linked to human illness, but in some rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections.
