Still time to register to walk a mile in her shoes
There is just over a week left until the annual 'Walk A Mile' event in support of Gillian's Place.
Families are encouraged to don their best and brightest pink and walk around their neighbourhoods to raise awareness about violence against women.
Participants can register their walk on Walk A Mile's virtual map to show the region-wide impact.
Registered participants will also get a Walk A Mile - COVID Style lawn sign and balloons to help decorate their house.
This year goal is $50,000 as Gillian's Place responds to an increase in domestic violence caused by COVID-19.
So far, $32,000 has been raised.
The event is happening October 17th.
This week, Chrissy Sadowski speaks with Trevor Harris about being in the same family bubble but making different choices for kids, beyond school.
