Traps being set up in Welland this week to vaccinate animals against rabies
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is conducting its Trap, Vaccinate, and Release (TVR) Program in areas of Welland until Friday.
The program's goal is to immunize raccoons, skunks, foxes, and coyotes from rabies.
Traps are set up in designated concealed areas and checked daily.
The wildlife is vaccinated and released on site.
