UPDATE | Keg Fallsview employees sent text mentioning positive COVID-19 test
The Keg Fallsview/Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls has closed the inside portion of its restaurant until Thursday, just days after it was allowed to reopen under Stage 3 of the province's strategy.
CKTB News was told by a receptionist the eatery had closed for a deep cleaning following a very busy weekend.
The closure notice is posted on the restaurant's website, but offers no explanation.
CKTB however has obtained a text message sent to Keg employees from a manager.
The message reads as follows " Now that we have had a night sleep to absorb the news of a positive COVID result I am sure there are still some questions or concerns. Please feel free to reach out to myself-Jim or Louie with any questions. Hope you have a healthy and safe day in the sun."
