UPDATE | NRP say the area of Jordan and Lincoln now safe following attempted abduction
Niagara Regional Police say an ongoing investigation has determined that it is now safe in the area of Jordan and Lincoln.
Safety protocols at the schools in the area and for the public have been lifted. .
Earlier today police had concerns about an armed suspect who had fled a stolen car in an area west of 19th Street on King St. in Jordan.
It followed an alleged attempted abduction of a 16 year old boy in Vineland.
A heavy police presence including the NRP's Emergency Task and K9 units were reported in the area.
There's no word yet on any arrests.
