UPDATE | QEW was closed in Grimsby for over 30 min during snowy afternoon in Niagara
It's turning out to be a slow, snowy drive home for many in Niagara after several crashes were reported on the QEW.
OPP shut down the QEW Toronto bound approaching Bartlett in Grimsby just after 4:30 p.m. following a crash involving a transport truck.
The highway re-opened at 5:15 p.m.
We are also hearing about a collision involving a transport truck on the QEW Toronto bound near Victoria, and another crash on the 406 NB at Westchester.
Snow continues to fall, and the forecast is calling for another 5 cm before flurries end tonight.
