UPDATE | Three arrested in Hamilton teen stabbing

Three people have been arrested and Hamilton police are looking for two more suspects after a stabbing outside of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School that left a 14-year-old boy dead.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment where he later did from his injuries.

Detective Sgt. Steve Bereziuk say the victim's mother was at the scene when the assault happened.

Three teenaged suspects have been arrested, and police are trying to locate two "outstanding suspects."

Police add they are in possession of a video of the incident, and encouraged the suspects to come forward.

Investigators say there was a relationship between the victim and the suspects, but they have not provided any details on the extent of the relationship.

They are asking anyone with information or cellphone video to give them a call or to reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously.
