WATCH: Footage of car slamming into NOTL restaurant

Footage of a car slamming into a Niagara-on-the-Lake restaurant has surfaced.

It happened Tuesday afternoon at Silk's Country Kitchen on Niagara Stone Road.

Police say the driver of the car put it in drive instead of reverse and drove into restaurant.

Two people were inside the car at the time, and two were sitting at the table where the car crashed into the building.

Blair Robertson is one of those people sitting at the table, and posted CCTV footage of the incident on Facebook.

Robertson says he is battered and bruised, and thankful to be alive.
