Welland bans firework sales, cancels Canada Day celebrations during pandemic
Don't expect to see fireworks in Welland any time soon.
With the long weekend coming up this weekend, officials are banning firework sales.

Welland officials have also decided to cancel the Canada Day celebrations at Merritt park due to the ongoing pandemic.
Officials are also discouraging residents from hosting garage sales as the itch to do a little Spring Cleaning may be settling in.
