YMCA daycares in Niagara to take phased in approach to reopening
The provincial government has clarified that child care centres in Ontario can reopen on their own timelines.
The clarification comes after Premier Doug Ford announced child care centres could open their doors by the end of the week.
Here in Niagara, YMCA daycares are planning a phased in approach to reopening in the coming weeks and plan to reach out to child care families at that time.
The YMCA issuing a statement yesterday saying they support the government's announcement but require additional information regarding child care regulations and local public health recommendations.
They'll post updates on their reopening plans on their website.
