Fraud Awareness and Prevention for Seniors (and others) information sessions are coming to the Lindsay Public Library on Wednesday November 13th from 2-4pm, the Nourish and Develop Hub in Cannington on November 20th from 6:30-8pm (Call Amy at 905-985-8237 to register for this one) and to the Peterborough Public Library also Wednesday November 20th from 3-5pm. These are informative discussions about current scams and steps to take to safeguard yourself.

The November meeting of the Lindsay Garden Club is their AGM and will include the swearing-in of the Executive and Board Members. The presentation this month is from John Statham on the subject of "Ornamental Grasses in the Landscape". The meeting will take place from 7:30 -9:30 pm on Tuesday, November 19th at St Paul's Anglican Church Hall, 45 Russell St. W., Lindsay. Join the City of Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation and Culture in partnership with ‘Signs and Wine Sign Making Workshops’ for their upcoming Wooden Sign Workshop. This workshop provides you with everything required to make a unique masterpiece to take home and display or perhaps give as a holiday gift. The workshop takes place on Thursday, November 21st from 7-9pm at the Victoria Park Armoury, Lindsay. Boyd Museum Nov 23
Boyd Museum at 21 Canal Street is also taking part in the Jingle and Mingle event with homemade hot mulled cider, Janis Huisman's beautiful weaving is for sale and there will also be a small book sale to help with finding that hard to buy for person a little something. Plus they are hosting a "Find Napoleon" contest with a prize of $200. Tickets are just $10 each.

College Community Choir’s Christmas Concert is Saturday November 23rd, 2pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lindsay. Come hear some of your favourite classics plus some fun carols to sing along with! Refreshments after the concert. Tickets are $15 at the door or from any choir member!
Santa Day in Fenelon Falls, Saturday November 30th! Downtown Activities
11 AM to 4PM! Your child will love visiting Santa, getting their face painted, writing a letter to Santa, enjoying a pony ride, and more. Light Up The Night Parade at 5PM. Experience the magic of the Santa Day parade. 3 professional bands, dozens of illuminated floats, and lots of characters! Spectacular Fireworks at 6PM! Winter Melodies Concert Nov 30
Celebrate the music of the season with the Winter Melodies Concert featuring Hannah Brouwer (soprano), Nathan Lucas (tenor) and Rachael Ewing (pianist). This concert will be held at St. Luke’s Church in Downeyville on Saturday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. Following the concert, there will be a reception at the Downeyville Hall to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the hall. A great old fashioned day on the farm. See an antique cutter from the 1800's, pose with a carriage horse in his harness and finery.
