Please join volunteers from THRIL (Therapeutic Horse Riding in Lindsay) for a fundraising event at Tradewind Toys, 110 Kent Street West in downtown Lindsay. On Saturday December 7th, each person who makes a purchase at Tradewind Toys and advises the clerk that they support THRIL, THRIL will benefit from a portion of that sale. Come down to Tradewind Toys to do your Christmas shopping and meet Cody – THRIL’s mini-horse mascot! He’ll be there on Saturday December 7th between 11am and 2pm. PLUS - THRIL volunteers will also be offering a GIFT WRAPPING Service that day! Bring your gifts purchased at ANY store to have them wrapped.
Free family skating
Free Family Skating Event to support the Woodville Community Food Bank before the Holidays. The Volunteer Firefighter Association and will be covering the costs of the public skate for all attendees on December 1st from 12-1pm and ask that visitors bring a non-perishable food item as a donation, if they are able. We will be on site collecting donations with fellow firefighters and the firetruck from 11-2pm that day.

Boyd Museum at 21 Canal Street is also taking part in the Jingle and Mingle event with homemade hot mulled cider, Janis Huisman's beautiful weaving is for sale and there will also be a small book sale to help with finding that hard to buy for person a little something. Celebrate the music of the season with the Winter Melodies Concert featuring Hannah Brouwer (soprano), Nathan Lucas (tenor) and Rachael Ewing (pianist). This concert will be held at St. Luke’s Church in Downeyville on Saturday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. Following the concert, there will be a reception at the Downeyville Hall to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the hall.
