Two people injured in float plane crash near Dunsford




A float plane crash near Dunsford sent two people to hospital Friday evening.

Emergency crews got the call for a downed airplane shortly after 6:30 p.m. on County Road 24 and Scotch Line Road.

When the plane went down, it clipped some branches and hydro wires before landing upside down in the ditch.

The two people inside the aircraft were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Onlookers say the pilot lives near where the crash happened and that he is an experienced pilot.

Kawartha Lakes OPP are investigating.
