Woman charged after argument
Kawartha Lakes Police have charged a woman who allegedly brandished a knife during an argument with a neighbour last evening (Monday)
Police were called just after 6:30pm after two women, who live beside one another on Russell Street west in Lindsay, began arguing.
A male acquaintance of one of the women attempted to intervene to calm things down.
One of the women allegedly pulled out a knife, began waving it at the man and thrust it towards him, cutting his hand.
The woman with the knife has been charged with uttering a threat to cause death, possession of a prohibited weapon and assault with a weapon.
The male victim did not require medical attention.
No names were released.
