Disqualified Driver Charged with Impaired Driving

DISQUALIFIED DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

 

(CHESLEY, ON) - On July 24, 2020 at 10:51 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol stopped a vehicle along 5th Street south east in Chesley. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.

 

Matthew COUPE, 24-years-old, of Hanover was charged with Operate over 80 milligrams, 4 counts of Driving while Prohibited, Obstruct Peace Officer and 2 counts of Driving while Suspended. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on September 30, 2020 to answer to the charges.
