A few strange ones from Grey Bruce OPP
A neighbours' dispute in Meaford may have gotten out of hand.
Grey Bruce OPP were called to Victoria Street on Friday, June 19 at around 8:40pm and found a man suffering from minor injuries to his abdomen after "coming into contact" with a weed whacker.
A 31 year old Meaford woman has been charged with assault with a weapon.
In a separate incident, Grey Bruce OPP have laid charges after a Georgian Bluffs man failed to get his vehicle back after a test drive.
Police were called in the early morning hours of June 19th after the victim says the person who was supposed to bring his vehicle back after a couple of hours.....hadn't.
He'd given permission to an acquaintance to take the vehicle, which was for sale, for a test drive.
After two days and several attempts to locate the driver, the vehicle was reported stolen.
A 31 year old Arran-Elderslie resident is facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle.
And in another neighbours dispute, OPP were called to a Frank Street home in Wiarton on Monday, June 22.
A verbal disagreement ensued over feeding seagulls.
Police say the accused spit in the victim's face and stepped on their foot.
A 58 year old Wiarton man is facing assault charges.
