Grey Bruce Health Unit sends out reminder ahead of Easter weekend
Due to the current global COVID-19 pandemic, many of our spiritual and culturally relevant traditional celebrations held at this time of year need to be postponed.
In-person social gatherings involving anyone from outside your immediate in-home family are to be avoided.
Public and social groups of more than five people (outside of your immediate family) are prohibited in Ontario.
However, social connection is still vital, and we encourage people to find alternative ways, during this season, to remain connected. Some options include:
• Phone or video chat with family and friends
• Have an online dinner party.
• Join a religious community service online or on television.
• Write a letter or send a card.
• Board games and more!
We understand the difficulties that people are facing during this challenging time.
It is only with the combined help of everyone adhering to these guidelines that we can keep our country, province, cities, towns, and rural areas safe during this pandemic.
