Huron Kinloss issues message to residents
Due to the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has closed all municipally owned playground structures until further notice.
This decision was made to protect the health and safety of the public as the COVID-19 virus can survive outdoors in current weather conditions.
Signs will be posted at each structure. For inquires, please call Huron-Kinloss Community Services at 519-395-2909.
The opening of the Kinloss Landfill Site, originally scheduled for April 4th, 2020 has been delayed indefinitely.
In order to access the Huron Landfill site, users MUST have an account set-up with the Township of Huron-Kinloss. This also includes patrons needing to dispose of items that would not require payment such as clean burnable brush, white goods, eWaste, tires, scrap steel, etc. To set up an account, visit the Huron-Kinloss Landfill webpage, download and complete the credit application form, and email the completed form to email@example.com. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing. These limitations have been implemented to encourage social distancing and to keep staff and the public safe. No monetary transactions will be permitted at the site. Regular curbside garbage pick will continue until further notice.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has declared a State of Emergency. This means all tenders have been suspended until further notice. Bid submission received will be retained by the Township until a revised tender closing date is determined.
For inquires, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-395-3735.
