Kincardine driver charged after pedestrian hit

On April 1, 2020 at 7:12 p.m.,  South Bruce OPP received a report of a pedestrian involved collision on Durham Street, Kincardine. 

Officers arrived with Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find that the vehicle was gone.

As a result of the investigation, a 57-year-old Kincardine resident was charged with 2 counts of Drive while under Suspension, Fail to Remain and Fail to Yield to Pedestrian.

The pedestrian had minor injuries assessed at the scene.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
