Local businessman dies in ATV accident
A prominent local community member and business owner has died.
Dick Tigwell, owner and operator of Tigwell Motorsports in Alvanley died August 16th after being involved in an ATV accident at his property in the Bahamas.
His family says they're just making the news public now after an unusual and lengthy process since the incident occurred.
Tigwell, who was an entrepreneur his whole life opened his first business in 1973.
He was 67 and leaves behind wife Jo and son Billy who will now operate the family business.
There are no plans at this point for a public service due to current Covid restrictions.
