Remains found inside burned out home in Grey Highlands
On January 9, around 7:15am Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire at Artemesia-Euphrasia Townline, east of Grey Road 13, Grey Highlands.
At the scene OPP officers were able to account for two of the three occupants living in the home.
Grey Highlands Fire Department and Grey County Paramedics attended the scene.
One of the two occupants, at the scene, was transported to hospital by an ambulance with serious injuries.
A third occupant of the home was unnacounted for.
On January 10, officials returned to the scene and located remains.
Ontario Coroner's Office is now involved in the investigation.
Grey Bruce OPP are waiting to after a post mortem examination before providing any identification.
Police will be remaining on scene as the investigation continues.
