Saugeen Shores police investigate mischief after school evacuated
On November 27, 2019, at approximately 3:03pm, the Saugeen Shores Police Service was contacted by the staff of Saugeen District Senior School.
An act of mischief had been discovered at the school that had caused concern for the safety of their staff and students.
All persons were removed from the school and members of the Saugeen Shores Police Service attended to investigate.
A search of the school was conducted and the circumstances surrounding the 'graffiti' (mischief) were investigated.
The "graffiti" message was in relation to a 'bomb'.
The actual message, and the investigation into the act of mischief are not being disclosed to aid in the investigation.
At this time the Saugeen Shores Police Service believes there is no legitimate threat to the safety of the school, or the staff and students.
