ARCTIC MONKEYS: What's Their Drummer Up To?
An Instagram post has fans of the Arctic Monkeys wondering if they've started work on a new album. Monday night, photographer Andreas Neumann posted an image of drummer Matt Helders behind a drum kit in a Los Angeles studio. Fans are speculating about a new Monkeys album produced by Josh Homme who co-produced their 2009 album.
Lenny Kravitz turned down the offer to record a “sure-fire” hit. In his memoir Let Love Rule, Lenny says that his pal and Beverly Hills High School classmate Kennedy Gordy asked him to record a new song he was working on. He turned down the chance to record, "Somebody's Watching Me," which Kennedy released himself under the stage name Rockwell and it went to number-two on the charts.
Norah Jones will interview Jeff Tweedy from Wilco about his book How to Write One Song, which came out yesterday, on a pay-per-view livestream presented by Brooklyn's Community Bookstore tonight at 7:30 on Dice.fm. The admission price includes a copy of the book.
